Way of the Prophet ﷺ

Welcome to Way of the Prophet ﷺ

What is Islam? What do you believe? Do you believe in God? Is it true you see Jesus (Isa) as only a Prophet?

These are some of the questions put forward by many people. The latter is a question often asked by Christians as they believe in Jesus as the “Son of God”. A Muslim however attributes no partners onto God, and the Muslim word for God is Allah (SWT). A Muslim when he prays makes the statement that Allah has no partners and ‘begotteth’ not nor is He ‘begotten’ (Sura Iklaas). Since many see Islam as a religion made of terrorists and fundamentalists, Islam is portrayed in the media in a negative light. We are hoping you will learn about Islam in the correct manner using our resources at this site.

With this in mind this website has been put up to help you learn about what Islam really is. Those that have taken time out to study Islam find it to be a most wonderful thing and one that cannot be doubted for its authenticity, reasoning and logic. Islam is the same faith as that followed by the Jews and the Christians in its essence – it is monotheistic, it believes in Adam (AS) as the first man and Prophet of Allah and its founder and core way of life is the same as the Prophet Ibrahim (or Abraham) (AS) which was followed by Prophet Moses (AS) and Prophet Jesus (AS).

In fact the more you look into Islam the more you discover that there is no way it could be anything else but the same divine message of the faith brought to the noble mankind in stages by the Prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Jesus and finally the Prophet Muhammed (Peace and blessings be upon them all), stressing monotheism.

Islam is not for the Arabs and only the Arabs, it is a faith that crosses all racial, ethnic and gender boundaries all proclaiming;

“There is no diety worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ

La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah
